I am filing these all together to save time.
Incident in main racelet:
hobiecat takes far too much mark room. He is not exonerated under Rule 18.5.
Incidents in the additional racelet:
1. hobiecat breaks Rule 15 by not giving me room to avoid him after he acquires RoW.
2. As he is also bound by Rule 17 to sail his PC, he sails both of us way over our line for the finish. Senseless move...
Clear rule breaches not exonerated by hobiecat.
Also, I'll forget your snide comments.....
System Info:Frodo was given a pen at t=307 (RE:Rule 18 - Mark room (!!)). Frodo raised the P flag at=311.

Ok guys, please remember to be respectful and polite here in the protest room. We can discuss these incidents and analyse them to see what rules were broken and by which boat in a civil and calm manner.
Now please address each incident and post your arguments as to which rule was broken, or not, and why. Thanks!
Aloha!

1st collision.
hobiecat breaks Rule 11 by not keeping clear of a leeward boat. She does not receive exoneration under Rule 18.5(a) as I provide ample room for her to round the mark, or Rule 18.5(b) because she is not sailing next or near her PC. She is, in fact, sailing approximately 122 degrees below her course to the mark. She is sailing 169 degrees at the collision, and the mark is, at this point, 47 degrees, or CHC. So 169 - 47 = 122.
2nd collision.
hobiecat gains an overlap from clear astern, so close, that I cannot avoid her. Hobiecat breaks Rule 15.
3rd collision.
Hobiecat, who gained an overlap from clear astern, is obliged to sail her proper course as per Rule 17. However, hobiecat breaks Rule 17 by sailing well past her PC which is to the finish line. Hobiecat just manages to finish with her kite up, but is above 90 degrees for a time to reach the mark. I have to drop my kite to reach it. I end up losing 2 additional places over this, not including another position lost to the protestee.
There are three simple rule breaches that the protestee has offered no explanation for in 2 days, 11 hours and 12 minutes.
Fro.

Ziv! Do you want a written invitation to answer the 3rd collision?! I really don't see why you are side-tracking and writing random comments, other than avoiding the fact that you broke Rule 17.
What do you need to read and respond to??
As for a keyboard on my arm, no. I just have a handbag...

hobiecat,
I am sorry you feel this way. I am sure Frodo was only trying to be humorous and did not mean to be not insulting to you in any way.
I will try and make a ruling in the next 24 hrs so all can see what rules were broken by which boat.
Aloha!

Hmmm, it appears humour and sarcasm is still not transferable through the language barrier and the internet..
